Cloud & High Availability Architecture

Architectures that stay up: HAProxy, keepalived, clustered databases and multi-cloud deployments designed for real network load.

Talk to me about this

What I’ve done here

  • Designs across VMware, Proxmox, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and DigitalOcean.
  • Clusters with Galera, Cassandra and ClickHouse for reliability and performance.
  • HAProxy and keepalived based high-availability front-ends with observability and failover.

What you get

  1. Architecture review with single points of failure and capacity limits called out
  2. Target topology: load balancing, database clustering, backups and DR
  3. Observability baseline: metrics, alerts and runbooks
  4. Phased migration plan with maintenance windows your operations team can own

Questions I get asked

FAQ

Do you work with on-premises deployments?+

Yes. Many ISP platforms run on Proxmox or VMware in their own racks; the HA patterns are the same as in the cloud.

What does an architecture review include?+

A walkthrough of your current topology, a written report of risks ranked by impact, and a target design with a phased plan.
